Breakfast Time

I absolutely love going out to breakfast. It’s the perfect way to start your day. My friend Anna took me to this great place called Keltic Kitchen yesterday located in West Yarmouth. I had the best chocolate chip pancakes with of course, a side of bacon- seriously! They were so good!

If you are on the Cape and have a chance to go I would highly recommend it.

Do you like going out for breakfast?

I recently picked up this dress from the sale rack at Urban Outfitters. I usually don’t find anything at Urban but recently I’ve been successful. I’m not particularly fond of Urban Outfitters as a company because of some of the past controversy regarding what they have put on some of their shirts but lately I’ve found a few great pieces.

I’ve found that you definitely have to give everything a chance at Urban. You have to try everything on and you must go into the dressing room without any expectations. If you go in with the mindset you won’t be upset. Shirts I’ve loved on the hanger have looked awful and others pieces I was skeptical about, I’ve loved.

I found this dress wedged in the back of the sale rack. It’s different than what I usually buy but was immediately drawn to the color and pattern. It’s loose fit makes it one of my most comfortable dresses.

How do you feel about Urban Outfitters as a company?

If you couldn’t tell from the pictures the wind made this outfit post extremely difficult. 🙂

On My Radar: Take A Step Back

This summer has been crazy busy. Between my internship, nannying, waitressing and teaching barre at my moms studio, I have been all over the place. These past few weeks I feel like I’ve been on the go 24/7. I don’t regret any of my commitments that I made this summer but it has definitely proven to be difficult both mentally and physically.

The other night my sister picked me up from work and we went out to dinner. It was a casual evening, nothing fancy but it was so nice. My sister and I have had completely opposite schedules this summer, which has made hanging out difficult. It was so nice to catch up and have a stress free evening where I wasn’t thinking about anything work related. We ended the evening by getting ice cream at our favorite place, Somerset Creamery and watching the sunset at Megansett Harbor.

It’s evenings like these that I remember the most, the ones filled with good conversation and lots of laughs. The evenings that aren’t planned in advance or hold any high expectations. These are the summer nights I love the most.

Sometimes you have to remember to take a step back and breathe.

How do you take a step back?
