Fall Wish List Must Haves

Fall Wish List

Here is what is on my fall wish list:

Sam Edelman Booties

As the season changes and the weather starts to cool, I’ve been on the hunt for a pair of booties that can be dressed up or down. Sam Edelman is one of my favorite shoe brands. Since they’re reasonably priced and super comfortable they’re my go to this fall.

Stila Lip Tint

A couple of weeks ago I tried a trio of samples of Stila lip tints and I immediately fell in love. They offer a variety of colors, are extremely affordable and the color lasts forever! My favorite color is Patina but I want to try this deep red called Ricco.

White Blouse

Whoever said “no white after labor day” clearly hasn’t seen this white blouse from Urban Outfitters. It’s one of those tops that’s incredibly versatile. Dressed up or down, it’s a great closet staple.

Clear Fashion Glasses

I’ve been toying with the idea of wearing clear statement glasses. Even though I’m not sure I can pull them off I might give them a try. What do you think?

Levi’s Denim Jacket

I have been searching for an oversized denim jacket to wear in the colder months. This Levi jacket seems to be the perfect option.

Sonix Phone Case

Funny story, a few weeks ago I dropped my phone in the ocean and my favorite phone case went along with it. I’ve been using a temporary case but am in search for a new one. I really like this one from sonix. Any recommendations?

Madewell Velvet Top

I love this velvet Madewell Tee. It’s a fun piece that is great for work and going out. Lately I’ve been looking for pieces that can be worn out in both professional and social settings.

Madewell Choker

A choker is one of my favorite accessories to add to an outfit. They’re simple, easy and immediately transform an outfit. I have a weakness for black and gold and this Madewell choker is no exception.

Aerie Velvet Bralette

This season, I’m loving velvet. I first spotted this bralette on Aerie’s Instagram and am eager to try it out. Aerie’s bralette’s have always been my favorite and this one seems so soft and comfortable. What do you think of velvet?

The foodie adventures: Smorgasburg, Prospect Park

Smorgasburg at Prospect Park

After four years, I finally had the chance to experience Smorgasburg this weekend in Prospect Park. Smorgasburg is an outdoor market with all different food and drink vendors. It was a warm and sunny fall day and perfect to wander through the park. The toughest part was deciding what to get…

I started with some mozzarella sticks and they were by far the best ones I have ever had. Not only were they massive but they were perfectly fried and melted right in my mouth. My second course was Mexican cheese, potato, and chicken flatuas. Each one was rolled and slathered in a mix of guac, pico de gallo and sour cream. Next I went for jerk chicken and pineapple dumplings. It may sound a bit strange, but the flavors complimented each other perfectly. For dessert, I had two different churro dishes. One was churros and Nutella, a classic choice. The other was a churro ice cream sandwich with salted caramel ice cream and chocolate sauce. The churros were crunchy on the outside but soft on the inside and a sweet delight beyond compare.

By the end, I was stuffed to say the least but there were so many more eateries I wanted to try. Even though Smorgasburg ends next weekend, I’m looking forward to trying more tasty treats next season.

Have you ever been to Smorgasburg before?
